Meghan Markle is set to celebrate her 43rd birthday today, marking her fourth since stepping back from the Royal Family with Prince Harry.Despite no longer being a working royal, the ex-Suits star's financial status continues to climb alongside her spouse.

Known for her role in the popular legal series, she raked in an impressive £40,000 per episode.Back in 2010, Meghan's bank balance got a boost of an additional £280,000 from her on-screen efforts in flicks such as Remember Me and The Candidate.

This was a staggering jump from the modest £625 she pocketed per appearance as a "briefcase girl" on the US version of Deal or No Deal. Before she met Prince Harry, the actress had also built a solid following of about three million Instagram aficionados, frequently sharing information about her yoga routines, healthy living tips, and her beloved beagle, Guy.

This online influence opened doors to endorsement deals which padded her yearly take-home by an estimated £350,000.However, joining the Royal fold meant giving up her personal social media privileges - a significant trade-off for Meghan.Pre-royal nuptials, Meghan had a net worth believed to be hovering at $5million (£3.8m), rather modest next to Harrys hefty $30million to $40million fortune.
