Rita Sahatçiu Ora (born 26 November 1990) is an English singer, songwriter and actress. She rose to prominence in February 2012 when she featured on DJ Fresh's single "Hot Right Now", which reached number one in the UK. Her debut studio album, Ora, released in August 2012, debuted at number one in the United Kingdom. The album contained the UK number-one singles, "R.I.P." and "How We Do (Party)". Manchester Pride, one of the UK's largest LGBTQ+ celebrations, is almost here. The annual four-day event takes place over the August bank holiday weekend (23-26 August) in locations across Manchester city centre.

At the heart of the festivities will be The Gay Village Party, hosting a diverse line-up of music and performances across three main stages and a series of pop-up stages along Canal Street and the adjoining roads.

Joining the previously-announced headline performers Jessie J and Loreen over the August Bank Holiday weekend event, Pride's stellar line-up will also feature Sugababes, fresh from their recent performance at Parklife, as well as Rita Ora, The Greatest Showman star Keala Settle and TV star and DJ Gok Wan. Running across a number of city centre streets, the bright and colourful parade will cause some traffic disruptions and road closures over the bank holiday weekend.
