A killer who shot his half-brother dead in the street has been jailed for life. Rumaal Ingram, 36, opened fire in Openshaw after meeting up with Zikel Bobmanuel.

A single bullet was fired into the ground, before it ‘fragmented’ and ricocheted, hitting 32-year-old Mr Bobmanuel in the neck and killing him.

Ingram was acquitted of murder, but pleaded guilty to manslaughter. Minshull Street Crown Court heard that the shooting followed a row over trainers.
