A drunk man has avoided jail after racially abusing a police officer, telling him: “your sister is a white P**i sh****r’.Jonathan Garvin, aged 44, was initially abusive to officers when they were called to an incident at a shop in Rochdale.After shouting and threatening the officers, Garvin, who 'has a problem with people in authority', staggered off into the car park before being arrested for being drunk and disorderly.Whilst being placed in handcuffs he made a racist remark towards one of the officers who later said he felt targeted, Manchester Magistrates Court heard.Garvin, of Rochdale, pleaded guilty to using threatening or abusive words that were racially aggravated.He was sentenced to a 12 week community order which sees him be made.
