A man has passed away after being attacked by two dogs outside a primary school in Staffordshire, police have confirmed. He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, where he was confirmed dead after arrival, according to emergency services.
Meanwhile, a 30-year-old man from Lichfield was arrested on suspicion of having dogs that were dangerously out of control. A West Midlands ambulance service spokesman said said: "Upon arrival we found a man who had sustained multiple life-threatening injuries and was in a critical condition.

Unfortunately, after arrival at hospital, despite the best efforts it became clear that nothing more could be done to save him he was confirmed deceased." A primary school in the Stonall area was forced into lockdown following the attack.
