Man drowns in hot tub while on holiday at popular glamping site
dailyrecord.co.ukA 21-year-old man tragically drowned in a hot tub at a popular glamping site. Jae Williams was found dead by friends while on holiday at the Florence Springs Glamping and Camping in Tenby.
An inquest into his death, held on Tuesday, heard that Mr Williams had taken a cocktail of drugs before being discovered in the tub on 23 January, 2022.
Coroner’s officer James Lang told the hearing that from the age of 14, Mr Williams had had regularly taken prescription medication such as Valium and diazepam before becoming heavily involved in drugs.
As reported by Wales Online, he explained: “Drugs were a big part of his life and he had some mental health issues." Mr Lang said that Mr Williams had further spiralled after the death of his grandmother and had a difficult upbringing.
