A man claims he was 'kicked and punched' on the ground in a violent attack after enjoying a night out with his boyfriend in the Gay Village.

Ryan Francis , 27, from Birmingham, says he now 'doesn't want to come to Manchester again' after the ordeal in the early hours of Sunday (July 30) that left his face with a number of injuries, including black eyes.

The retail worker and model, who had been out with his boyfriend, who is a paramedic, claims the couple had been to another premises nearby to get food after spending the night at local bars.
