Manchester City have made a useful habit of selling homegrown players for millions of pounds and this summer could be no exception.

Among those players who could be sold for profit – which would register as pure profit on City's Financial Fair Play accounts – is striker Liam Delap, who has experienced a series of mixed loan moves in recent seasons.

Delap finally found his feet at Hull this season just gone, scoring eight times in the Championship either side of a frustrating injury setback around the turn of the New Year.

He proved a popular signing at the KCOM Stadium, with the Tigers keen to keep him next season in some capacity.
