Netflix have won the race to show the inside story of Manchester City's Treble-winning season. The club had cameramen embedded within the first team squad last year as Pep Guardiola and his first team made history by winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League.
And while the footage was packaged together by the club's in-house production company, City Studios, there was significant interest from external companies in buying the footage for their own platform.
After beating off the competition, Netflix have agreed a seven-figure sum with City to broadcast the six-part series 'Together: Treble Winners'.
The full series will be available in over 200 countries across the globe from April, with a trailer expected to be released as early as this week; it will also be dubbed or sub-titled for various different markets.
