Man arrested after huge fire rips through Scots home as four properties evacuated

A 35-year-old man has been arrested after a huge fire ripped though a home in Kinross-shire. Emergency services were called to Wester Loan in Milnathort following reports of a disturbance at around 12.30am on Saturday.

Officers have confirmed that a 35-year-old man has now been arrested in connection with the incident.Four properties have been evacuated and the road remains closed.

A diversion is in place and police say their enquiries into the incident remain are ongoing.Footage taken by a local showed the semi-detached residential property engulfed by the inferno.
