A man who said he had 'never really been sick before' was given three weeks to live by doctors after being diagnosed with leukaemia.
Harry Simpson first noticed 'a couple of purple spots' on his chest last February, the Liverpool Echo reports. The 27-year-old said he 'thought nothing of it' and spent the next two weeks celebrating his birthday in Dubai.
But when he returned home, the search and rescue worker noticed he had started struggling to breathe. After multiple tests and weeks in hospital, he was diagnosed with early T-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukaemia (ETP-ALL) and told he could have 'maximum three weeks left'. Harry, who studied criminology and sociology at Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) before leaving for a job in Belfast, said: "I was really tired, just fatigued.
