Lorry flips onto side on busy Scots road as police scrambled to scene
dailyrecord.co.ukPolice were scrambled to the scene of a lorry crash after the huge vehicle tipped onto its side on the A96 in Moray.Traffic Scotland reported the road had been closed near Keith at around 5.25pm on Saturday, January 6, due to the overturned HGV.Cops are in attendance but it is not known at this stage if there have been any injuries.A spokesperson for Amey North East, who do engineering and operations work on the trunk roads on behalf of Transport Scotland, said: "The A96 Keith to Blackhillock.
Due to an overturned HGV, the road is closed in both directions."Police are on scene, Amey crews en route to assist and implement diversions."A Traffic Scotland spokesperson said: "The A96 Blackhillock, just south of Keith, is closed in both directions due to an overturned vehicle.
