An Antiques Roadshow guest has been left stunned to discover the staggering value of two vases she purchased in a charity shop for just £2.
In an episode that aired on January 21, folks from Derry, Northern Ireland, brought their treasures to Ebrington Square for valuation.
One lady brought in two floral vases she'd bought for a quid each after negotiating the price down at a charity shop. She revealed she had almost chucked them out before deciding to bring them along to learn their history.
Despite the vases not being in the best condition, expert John Sandon revealed they were quite valuable. He explained they were made by Belleek, a pottery firm whose pieces are sought after by collectors.The gold trim and tulip decoration on the ceramics made them even more special, as Belleek didn't make many of that style.
