Alison Hammond and Josie Gibson have been hit with complaints over a question they asked Sir Chris Whitty during his appearance on This Morning.

The former chief medical officer appeared on the ITV daytime show on Thursday (October 5) to discuss the pledge announced by Rishi Sunak that would see the legal age for smoking rise by one year every year.
