Lil Durk‘s son shooting his stepfather during a domestic altercation with his mother.Reports recently emerged about a July 1 incident in which the boy allegedly grabbed the weapon from his stepdad, Joshua Pippens, and then fired the gun at him.Pippens took to Instagram last week, where he shared a video of the fight he had with the child’s mother that led to the alleged shooting.A post shared by Joshua Pippens (@reezy_dgaf)“As y’all can see I was not the aggressor,” he wrote in the caption alongside the video, “and y’all also can see how I still had my gun on my hip.”He added: “He grabbed my gun off my hip following his mom’s lead and tried to shoot me and then actually shot me.

I advise y’all see it before they take it down #buildawareness.”In a later post, Pippens shared a photo of an official document revealing that the 10-year-old was questioned by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Office “as part of the assessment investigation”.According to the document, the child told the authorities that he saw his mother (Ms Travanna Collier) and Pippens arguing outside of the man’s mother’s home.

He even said he encouraged his mum to “stop fighting with Mr Pippens” before getting out of the car and pushing Pippens. The boy was also asked whether his mother had a gun, to which he said: “Yes, but it didn’t go off.” The police document also inferred that the boy claimed Pippens and Colliers were wrestling over the mother’s gun and, when Pippens dropped out of his pocket and onto the ground, the boy shot his stepfather in fear of his mother getting hurt.A post shared by Joshua Pippens (@reezy_dgaf)At the time of writing, Durk has not explicitly commented on the incident.
