Lanarkshire village announces plans to thank its big hearted heroes at awards bash

Those living in Newmains will get the chance to say thanks to locals who have helped make a difference to their community.The village’s community awards dinner will recognise volunteers, young and old, as well as local businesses who have contributed to the various event within Newmains over the past 12 months.The event, which takes place on November 11, is being organised by members of Newmains Community Council and the village’s Community Trust.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
