Lanarkshire golf course dramatically transformed to make way for luxury garden and homeware store

A new design-led garden and homeware centre is set to open in Gartcosh next month.The new store, which is situated at the building which was formerly Mount Ellen Golf Club and surrounding land, is currently in the final stages of development and will open in March.

The golf club closed in 2018 but the clubhouse building was relatively new, having only opened a decade earlier.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
