A cyclist whose knees and back were shattered in a hit-and-run three months ago has issued a plea to the driver to "have a conscience" and come forward.Chris Stoddart says his life has been turned upside down since being mowed down on his way to work last November.Still in recovery from a broken back and two broken kneecaps, and unable to work, the 33-year-old civil servant from East Kilbride has had to learn to walk again as he prepares to welcome his first child into the world.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.

With no license plate number or any new information given to police since the incident, Chris is appealing for help to trace the driver who left him for dead.He told Lanarkshire Live: "I was cycling my regular route to work when the next thing I know I'm tumbling through the air, then I'm on my back with three strangers looking at me checking I'm okay."It turns out I'd been hit from behind and the driver hadn't actually stopped.
