Lanarkshire baker enjoys slice of action at The Open with Claret Jug cake

A talented Uddingston baker putt her baking talents to good use recently, when she created an amazing cake version of the Claret Jug for the 150th Open Championship in St Andrews.Jacqueline Evans, who works as an occupational therapist for adults with learning disabilities in North Lanarkshire, was given the idea to create the cake by one of her patients, after she found out she had secured tickets for the huge sporting event.The Bellshill Golf Club member told Lanarkshire Live: "I've been baking for around 30 years; I've done some quite big pieces for family and friends I really enjoy it.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
