Foals have shared the new video for their latest single ‘Life Is Yours’ – check it out below.The song appears on the Oxford band’s acclaimed seventh album of the same name, which came out last month.Arriving today (July 28), the official visuals for the title track – which see the group perform in a circular configuration – is described as “quite unlike any Foals live experience you have witnessed before”.The core trio – comprising Yannis Philippakis, Jack Bevan and Jimmy Smith – are joined in the studio space by their touring band members (Kit Monteith, Jack Freeman and Joe Price) as different coloured lights cast their silhouettes onto the walls.As ‘Life Is Yours’ breaks down, the camera cuts and lighting effects become more intense. A final, birds eye view of Foals in their unique set up concludes the video.

Foals have created their own one-of-a-kind bike in aid of the Mental Health Foundation – find all the details on how to win it below.The Oxford band’s drummer and avid cyclist Jack Bevan joined forces with top UK cycle manufacturer Brompton to create the “Foals-themed” bike, which was handbuilt in London.“Using Brompton’s renowned folding C Line frame as a basis, Jack customised the design using his own choice of additional components, including a Brookes Cambium saddle as well as the stylish, high-performance tan wall tyres provided by Schwalbe,” an official listing reads.“It was then completed with a detailed visual design which adapts elements from the ‘Life Is Yours’ album aesthetic to adorn the bike in a way that’s utterly distinctive.”To be in with a chance of winning the bike, fans are required to enter a Crowdfunder raffle for either £5 (one ticket), £10 (three tickets) or £20 (eight tickets). Foals lead this week’s Official Albums Chart race, with their seventh studio album Life is Yours currently tracking to debut at Number 1. 

Foals have performed a pair of recent singles while appearing on Later… with Jools Holland.The band played both ‘2am’ and ‘2001’ – which arrived in February and May, respectively – during their appearance. Foals have announced the launch of their very own hot sauce, ‘Holy Fire Hot Honey’ – you can purchase the spicy condiment here.Released in collaboration with Sauce Shop, the limited edition hot honey drizzle is the brainchild of the Oxford band’s drummer Jack Bevan, who is a long-time hot sauce fan.Swapping the studio for the kitchen, Bevan devised a combination of sweet honey and habaneros before adding activated charcoal to make a unique dark elixir, “perfect for drizzling on pizzas, chicken wings, or anything else you fancy,” a press release reads.Speaking on his new sauce, the drummer said: “I’ve been a fan of Sauce Shop’s sauces for ages, so it only felt right to collaborate for Foals’ first-ever food launch. Foals have shared their latest single, ‘Looking High’ – you can listen to the new track below.The song is the latest preview of the trio’s upcoming new album ‘Life Is Yours’, which is set for release on June 17.Having originated as a demo by guitarist Jimmy Smith, ‘Looking High’ came to life after Smith reunited with Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis and drummer Jack Bevan post-lockdown.Produced by John Hill (and featuring co-production by Miles James and additional production by A.K. Paul), ‘Looking High’, Philippakis explains, “is looking back to a more hedonistic time in my life, and a more innocent time in society in general, pre-pandemic and before the existential threat of climate change”.“It takes place in an alley in Oxford with two clubs – The Cellar and The Wheatsheaf – that all the city’s nightlife gravitated towards,” the singer added.“It was before clubs started to close down and our cities started to change into more corporate, arid places.
