A post shared by British Vogue (@britishvogue) on Sep 7, 2020 at 9:00am PDTShe revealed to the outlet that she required 10 people to help her get into the ‘massive’ dress and when the crew saw her for the first time in it, they all fell silent.The original bridal gown was designed by David and Elizabeth Emanuel and was hand-embroidered with 10,000 pearls with a 25-foot train and David acted as a consultant on set.She told the magazine: ‘The Emanuels, who designed the original, gave us the patterns, and then it was made for me.‘We were filming the scene when you first see her in the wedding dress — I think it was Lancaster House in London — and I had a team of about 10 people helping me put it on, because it’s massive.‘I walked out and
