Kerry Katona has called out people online for "spreading negativity" after she was caught short on the motorway. The mum-of-five needed to urinate on the side of the road after getting stuck in a traffic jam on the M56.The 43-year-old had been on her way to perform as the Wicked Queen in a pantomime show in Ellesmere Port when she was stuck on the carriageway for two hours.

After posting a video of herself using the road as a loo on Instagram, the former Atomic Kitten star prompted some criticism.

Posting the video to her 826,000 followers she could be heard asking her daughters: "Can anyone see me?!" Kerry admitted she was struggling with stage fright and asked her girls: "Can people see my bum and everything?!" While many of her fans saw the funny side of the video, some people called her a "trash" and said the situation was "embarrassing." Replying to the insults, Kerry posted a video ahead of her evening performance in the Snow White panto, she said: "Stop with the hate people, it's so unnecessary, it was just a laugh and a joke, it's actually making me upset. "It's ok for men to do that, but women who actually give life and bare children, we can't do it, it's not fair. "Calm down with the hate guys!

I didn't even do it, it was just a joke, I didn't even pee." One of her daughters joined in and added: "If you gotta pee, you gotta pee!" Kerry replied: "Thank you, give me five!," and then gave her daughter a high-five.
