Ruth Langsford
Ruth Langsford (born 17 March 1960 in Singapore) is an English television presenter of shows such as This Morning, Gift Wrapped and How the Other Half Lives. Langsford is an anchor on ITV's lunchtime chat show Loose Women and presents Ruth Langsford's Fashion Edit on QVC. She took part in the fifteenth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where she came ninth. She is currently the longest serving female presenter of This Morning. Ruth currently is more frequently known for her exclusive fashion collection, for British fashion label QVC. After being approached to curate a collection, Langsford signed a multi million pound endorsement deal that spawned 19 sellout collections; 18 of which debuted at London Fashion Week Women’s Collection.

Huge crowds queue to grab selfie with I’m a Celebrity winner Sam Thompson at the Arndale

The atmosphere at the Arndale on Monday morning (January 8) was electric as huge crowds gathered to meet I’m A Celebrity winner Sam Thompson.

The star was presenting live on This Morning from inside the shopping centre and on Exchange Square. Alongside a host of other familiar faces from the ITV show, The Made In Chelsea star was his typical energetic self as the show kicked off at 10am where they handed out free coffees to the public all morning.

The breakfast show gang were in Manchester between 9.40am and 12.15pm and encouraged Mancs to get involved. Also making an appearance on the show was Corrie star, Daniel Brocklebank, best known for playing Billy Mayhew on the ITV soap, called down to Sam Thompson and This Morning vet Dr Scott Miller with his pooches at the pet pop-up clinic.
