Keanu Reeves has said that he thinks about death a lot now that he’s getting older.Speaking to BBC News, Reeves said that as he nears 60, he’s thinking more about ageing and getting older.Ge told the outlet: “I’m 59, so I’m thinking about death all the time.” Rather than being a negative thing, Reeves said it was “a good thing.”He went on: “Hopefully it’s not crippling, but hopefully it’s sensitised [us] to an appreciation of the breath we have, and the relationships that we have the potential to have.”The actor was promoting his new graphic novel The Book of Elsewhere, which is based on his successful book series BRZRKR.Speaking about comics and the graphic novel medium, he said: “I love the images… I love words and storytelling and I love the way that you can have this engagement that overlays.

And so you can look at the art and then you can follow the story.”Reeves wrote the novel in collaboration with British science fiction author China Miéville.

The story follows that of an immortal warrior, who wants to be able to die.“I didn’t write a novel. China wrote a novel,” the actor continued, something contested by Miéville who, in the same interview said that was “putting it too far” before adding: “It wouldn’t exist in the form without a lot of very thoughtful and careful work with Keanu.”Recently, Reeves’ band Dogstar announced a host of new US tour dates – check them out below.
