Katie Holmes reveals she called Jenna Bush Hager for advice when preparing to film First Daughter

So committed was the actress to starring as the president's daughter accurately, that when preparing to do so, she went so far as to get some advice from a real president's daughter.

Her father, George W. Bush, was the 43rd President of the United States from 2001 to 2009, during which she was 20 to 28 years old; her grandfather, the late George HW Bush, was 41st president from 1989 to 1993, during which they were eight to 12 years old.
