ok.co.ukGary Goldsmith, the maternal uncle of Kate Middleton, has become the first housemate evicted from Celebrity Big Brother on ITV.The businessman and podcast host exited the house on Friday, March 8, to the sound of overwhelming booing from the live audience.
Gary, 58, survived five days on the ITV reality show before he was evicted after a public vote, as he was nominated alongside The Real Housewives Of Cheshire star Lauren Simon.
Following his eviction, Gary said he had the “best of times” on the show. Gary, wearing a denim shirt, said in his first exit interview: “This is the first television programme that I have ever done, my comfort zone is back in Slough, it took me a while to acclimatise.” He said he was “self-doubting” when he joined the ITV show, and he should have been “more authentic”. “I could have been way more gregarious,” he added.
Speaking about his many references to the Royal Family, he said: “People were asking me a lot of questions specifically about that because they didn’t know what to ask me.
