Gendler & Kelly Law Firm Changes Name with Elevation of Partner Sarah Cunningham
variety.comWilliam Earl The entertainment law firm of Gendler & Kelly has changed its name as of today to Gendler, Kelly & Cunningham, reflecting the elevation of partner Sarah Cunningham.
Cunningham joined the firm in 2018 and was promoted to partner in 2021. The etching of her name on the firm’s door comes as recognition of her contributions to the respected boutique outfit founded in 1996 by Michael Gendler and Kevin Kelly.
Cunningham “has represented the firm’s clients with an intelligence, diligence, creativity and insight rarely found in one lawyer,” Gendler said. “Her ability to navigate complex deals, coupled with her sensitivity to our clients’ diverse interests and career goals, are a tremendous asset to our firm.
In 2021, we made the easy decision to ask Sarah to become the firm’s first new partner in our 26-year history. Today, we have the privilege to announce Gendler & Kelly is now Gendler, Kelly & Cunningham.” Cunningham joined the entertainment-focused firm after working for Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher as a litigator.
