Kate Abdo’s subtle gesture to husband Malik Scott as pair married in intimate ceremony

Abdo, who was born in Manchester, is best known as the face of CBS Sports Golazo’s Champions League coverage, regularly making headlines alongside Jamie Carragher, Thierry Henry and Micah Richards thanks to their entertaining chemistry.
She recently married respected boxing trainer Scott, tying the knot in a cosy ceremony in Malibu Hills, California. To celebrate their union, Abdo designed an incredible cake that paid homage to Scott's boxing roots, with the American admitting that the sport 'saved his life'.
While he is best known for coaching former heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, Scott was also a respected fighter himself in the ring. "She took an old picture of my first ABC Gym in North Philadelphia, where I was raised, the gym that essentially saved my life.
She copied the ring from that gym and turned it into a cake, with me in the ring wearing the boxing trunks I had on when I fought Tony Thompson. "Those trunks had a design I borrowed from Sugar Ray Leonard when he fought Tommy Hearns the second time, but I added my own colours - pink and black with stripes.
