Julian Sands cause of death ruled 'undetermined' four weeks after body found
dailyrecord.co.ukPolice have said British actor Julian Sands' cause of death is "undetermined", four weeks after his body was found in the San Gabriel mountains in southern California.
The 65-year-old had been missing for more than five months after going hiking in the Mount Baldy area before his body was found by hikers on June 24.Police later confirmed the body was Sands on June 27 and now an officer with the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department said Sands' cause of death was ruled "undetermined".
As reported in the Mirror, this was due to the condition of the body and is not uncommon when officers deal with cases of this type.The actor was first reported missing shortly after his 65th birthday on January 12 after going for a hike during dangerous changing conditions in the area.The beloved star is known for a variety of his performances in well-known films including roles in A Room with a View, Warlock, Boxing Helena, and Arachnophobia.
The star had a wide range of talent, acting as characters in a variety of genres including romance dramas, horrors fantasies, and mysteries.Just weeks before the fatal hike, Sands recalled "finding spooky things on mountains" during an interview with Radio Times.
