Judge Rules Lady Gaga Won't Have to Pay $500k Reward in Dognapping Case
justjared.comLady Gaga does not owe any money in relation to her dognapping case. Earlier this year, Jennifer McBride, one of the alleged accomplices in the 2021 incident involving her two dogs and dog walker, filed a lawsuit against the 37-year-old singer seeking the $500,000 reward offered for the dogs plus $1.5 million in additional damages.

Fujie ruled that Gaga does not have to pay the reward after initially ordering in July that Jennifer‘s complaint was “legally insufficient in its entirety.” Jennifer had been given 20 days to amend her filing.
She claimed that she was “in no way involved in the theft” and only “took possession” of the dogs to return them, according to documents obtained by People.
