That’s kind of been the deal, just listening to him a lot and watching him a lot. It’s been really fun preparing.”This isn’t White’s first time playing a real-life figure, as he also starred in the 2023 film “The Iron Claw” as the now-deceased wrestler, Kerry Von Erich.
Per a press release about the movie, “Nebraska” is regarded, “as a landmark in his musical odyssey and a source of inspiration for a generation of artists and musicians… ‘Nebraska’ is considered one of Springsteen’s most enduring works — a raw, haunted acoustic record populated by lost souls searching for a reason to believe.”“Nebraska” doesn’t have some of Springsteen’s most famous hits such as “Born to Run” and “Born in the U.S.A.,” but it has songs such as “Highway Patrolman” and “Johnny 99.” Stephen Graham will play Springsteen’s father, Paul Walter Hauser will play guitar tech Mike Batlan and Odessa Young is rumored to play a love interest.
This would be a love interest before Springsteen’s wife and band-mate, Patti Scialfa, 71, since the couple tied the knot in 1991. “Succession” star Jeremy Strong has been rumored to play Springsteen’s manager, Jon Landau, according to Variety.
