Jane McDonald has thrilled fans as she announced a 'first' as she plans her small screen return. The singer and TV star confirmed the return date for her popular series Holidaying with Jane McDonald - and it's just days away.

Posting on Twitter and Instagram, Jane revealed that she's going to be experiencing her first safari on the new run of her Channel 5 show. "Come and join me on Safari!," she started her message on social media before confirming: "A new series of Holidaying with Jane McDonald starts on Thursday, 27th April on @channel5_tv at 8pm." She added: "In the first episode, I’ll be exploring Kenya and experiencing my first safari – including a night spent sleeping under the stars." And fans were quickly responding as they claimed the 'Queen is back'.
