ITV's daytime schedule has had a huge shake-up after two breakfast shows were axed. Laura Whitmore and Oti Mabuse's breakfast programmes - aired on Saturday and Sunday mornings - have been cancelled in a major change for the channel. Both the former Love Island host and Dancing on Ice judge's shows were named after the stars and often featured celebrity guests and live performances.

A source told the Mirror: "Laura and Oti's shows not being renewed is in no way a reflection on them - they both impressed with their hosting skills and personalities.

Producers are keen to keep the slots fresh and introduce a new offering to viewers this Spring." As an ITV spokesperson said: "Since commissioning the weekend morning breakfast programmes, we have used these shows as an opportunity to showcase both established and up-and-coming presenters."Despite the shakeup, professional dancer Oti is still a fixture on ITV1, starring as a judge on Dancing On Ice alongside Ashley Banjo, Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean.

Laura - who is married to Scots Love Island narrator Iain Stirling - was also recently the face of an investigative series for the channel.
