His reign of terror escalated when he found out she had terminated their unborn child. Initially, Belle deceived Tom into thinking she had suffered a miscarriage, but the truth eventually surfaced, leaving him enraged.
Recently, the pair, along with Belle's dog, Piper, left the village for Wales - where Tom is covertly planning to move permanently.
This week, news of their sudden departure spreads - causing Belle's relative, Charity (Emma Atkins), to become concerned. Determined to uncover the truth, Charity recruits Cain (Jeff Hordley) and they break into Tom and Belle's home.
