ITV Coronation Street star leaves Rochelle Humes stunned over his famous dad
dailyrecord.co.ukThis Morning presenter Rochelle Humes was left stunned on Monday's show during a chat with Coronation Street star Luca Toolan after realising who his dad was live on air.Luca, who stars as cobbles bully Mason, appeared on the ITV show to speak about his current bullying storyline.
He was quizzed on what his famous dad thought of his debut acting role and landing such a powerful character.His dad, well-known radio DJ Mike Toolan, works on the airwaves of Hits Radio alongside former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star Gemma Atkinson.
Rochelle's co-star Andi Peters asked Luca what his dad makes of it all."He loves it," Luca replied before Rochelle interrupted realising she knew the actor's dad. "I know your dad!" Rochelle exclaimed. "Sorry, I didn't know it was that Mike!""When we were in [The Saturdays] we used to do radio tours and we always used to see your dad.
Sorry, that took me by surprise," she added, according to the Mirror, before Luca quipped: "[My dad] loves it, he's my number one fan."Luca went on to admit he struggles to watch Coronation Street with his family because of the character he's portraying.
