ITV Coronation Street fans believe they've finally figured out a way to Roy Cropper's freedom after a clue on Wednesday evening.Roy was recently arrested and found himself as the number one suspect for the alleged murder of missing teenager Lauren Bolton. However, viewers will recall that the troubled youngster suddenly left the cobbles earlier this year, which left love interest Bobby concerned after he found Lauren's flat unlocked but she was nowhere to be seen.Viewers never saw Lauren leave and it appears she told no one close to her of her exit plans aside from Roy, given the fact she immediately disappeared, the Mirror reports.Lauren was reported missing to the police by Bobby and Roy has now found himself under suspicion due to his kind nature, especially after he was caught innocently tidying up the teen's flat, which some people believed confirmed his guilt as they said he was disposing of evidence.Only recently, Roy was wrongly arrested on suspicion of murdering his former employee and has since faced a mountain of abuse from sleuths and online trolls trying to solve the case.On Wednesday evening Roy was left distraught to discover that his late wife Hayley Cropper's son, Christian has said hurtful things about him and Hayley online.Roy was left heartbroken to learn that Christian had implied that he killed Hayley as he said Lauren wasn't "his first victim".
