Fans were left stunned in August 2020 when Alan, who returns with a new series of his ITV comedy Changing Ends on Saturday, 20 July, shared transformative snaps of himself online.
Alan, who is known for being good friends with Adele – another star who has slimmed down in recent years – admitted that the Easy On Me singer inspired him to embark on his own weight loss journey, with him deciding to follow the same diet.
Chatting to The Sun about his 2020 transformation, he revealed: ''I have been on a weird diet of a 1,000 calories. Adele looks great and she has inspired me," reports Wales Online.
