Independent Artist Group Signs ‘Ironheart’s Rashida “Sheedz” Olayiwola
deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Rashida “Sheedz” Olayiwola, one of the stars of Disney+’s forthcoming Marvel miniseries Ironheart, has signed with Independent Artist Group for representation.
While details as to Olayiwola’s role are under wraps, she’s part of an ensemble led by Dominique Thorne, which also includes Anthony Ramos, Shakira Barrera, Alden Ehrenreich and more.
The six-episode series created by Chinaka Hodge sees Thorne reprise her Black Panther: Wakanda Forever role of Riri Williams, a genius inventor out of MIT who has created the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man’s.
An actress, writer and comedian, Olayiwola is best known for her role as Bailiff Nikki in Amazon Freevee’s singular comedy series Jury Duty from creators Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky, which went viral earlier this year and garnered three Emmy nominations including Outstanding Comedy Series.
