Ice Spice, Snoop Dogg Give Surprise Performance in Times Square; Reveal ‘Fortnite’ Campaign With Eminem and Juice WRLD
variety.comEpic Games’ massive multiplayer online game “Fortnite.” The event was revealed in real time to everyone present at the New York City landmark location, with Snoop Dogg and Ice Spice performing in person as the stunt was available for viewing to all “Fortnite” players.
In addition the performance, “Fortnite” revealed its Chapter 2 remix with contributions from Snoop, Ice Spice and Eminem, as well as the estate of Juice WRLD.
A new posthumous album is expected from the late rapper later this year via Grade A Productions and Interscope Records. In a first for “Fortnite,” players can engage with each artist through themed gameplay locations launching week by week.
Players can also express themselves and rep each musician through individual artist Outfits found in the Fortnite Shop. Chapter 2 Remix will end on a special note with “Remix: The Finale” — a live event on Nov.
