Flog It host Paul Martin issued an apology after an exquisite antique outfit didn't reach its reserve price at an auction. On Wednesday's returned episode of the beloved BBC programme, Paul and his team of antiques experts were on hand to help people potentially earn a bit of cash from their heirlooms.

A standout moment featured guest Jane from Leicester, who brought in a striking Chinese ceremonial outfit dated back to the 1900s that she had inherited from her grandfather.

Jane recounted that her father used to don the stunning attire during his childhood. The outfit was estimated to fetch between £100-120, and with such high hopes, the experts were quite confident of a sale, as reported by Express.

A reserve price was set at £80 for the piece, meaning it wouldn't be sold unless bidding reached that minimum threshold. To everyone's surprise, the highest offer stalled at just £65, leaving the outfit unsold.
