A children's TV star tragically lost their life when they were stabbed to death outside a London nightclub. Nineteen year old Carl Beatson-Asiedu, who starred in the CBBC detective series M.I.

High, had been performing as rapper Charmz at Club Life in Vauxhall, when a late-night row turned to violence. Carl was one of three friends stabbed during the incident in August 2009, but tragically he was the only one who didn't survive.

Jeffrey Okafor, 24, from East Dulwich in south east London, was convicted in 2015 of murdering Carl and sentenced to a minimum of 17 years and 146 days.
