‘House of David’ Biblical Drama at Amazon Casts Its David, Goliath, King Saul and More (EXCLUSIVE)
variety.comSelome Hailu After a fourth-month, worldwide search, the Amazon Prime Video drama “House of David” has found its cast of biblical figures.
Michael Iskander will lead the series as David. The Egyptian American actor is best known for originating the role of Aaron in “Kimberly Akimbo,” which in 2023 won the Tony Award for Best Musical.
King Saul will be played by Ali Suliman (“Jack Ryan”). His wife Queen Ahinoam will be played by Ayelet Zurer (“Man Of Steel”) while Samuel is played by Stephen Lang (“Avatar: The Way of Water”) and Goliath is played by Martyn Ford aka the Nightmare (“Mortal Kombat 2”).
Per the official description, “‘House of David’ tells the story of the ascent of biblical icon, David, who eventually becomes the most famous king of Israel.
