Holidaymakers heading abroad this summer are being urged to keep a check on their fees when using a card. Experts at TotallyMoney examined the overall cost of withdrawing cash abroad with a credit card throughout August.

They highlighted that most cards will add a surplus charge when taking out cash abroad. It's important to note that such fees often come in two forms - cash withdrawal fee and non-sterling fees.
