Helen Skelton has opened up about her marriage split as she recalled a question she was asked by her Strictly Come Dancing partner Gorka Marquez.
The Countryfile star and her rugby player announced in April last year (2022) that they were "no longer a couple". Helen, who tied the knot with Richie in 2013, penned on her Instagram Story at the time: "Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple.
He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children." The pair now co-parent their three children – eight-year-old son Ernie, six-year-old Louis and daughter Elsie Kate – with her former husband and rugby player Richie Myler. The TV star made it all the way to the final of the BBC One dance competition alongside her professional partner Gorka and she earned heaps of praise for not only her dancing skills but for coming out of her shell and embracing everything the show has to offer - including the sexy routines.
