The dancer, who unfortunately left the competition during week three with celebrity dance partner Nikita Kanda, was opening up about juggling the show and being a new dad-of-two.
Gorka, 33, welcomed his second child into the world in July with his fiancee Gemma Atkinson. Gemma, who met the dancer on Strictly in 2017 before they made their romance official the following year, gave birth to their baby son Thiago Thomas Marquez just over four years after their first-born, daughter Mia, was born.
But days after Thiago's arrival, Gorka has to leave the family home and head to London where rehearsals for Strictly were taking place.
The Spanish-born star then had to leave home again as he got into training with BBC Asian Network presenter Nikita for their stint in the ballroom, which ended up keeping him from his family for four weeks until his exit.
