A pensioner who was spared jail four years ago over a secret haul of vile child abuse images and videos is facing a prison sentence again after police caught him with a sick new stash.

Darryl Walters, 75, walked free from court in 2020 despite being found in possession of 51,189 indecent images and videos, mostly of girls aged between eight and 12 - which he had collected over a 10-year period.

At the time, the pensioner was said to be a 'good husband who had lived a good life and had always worked hard'. A judge said he had been 'a constructive member of the local community' and held back from sending him immediately to custody. Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
