Hamilton politicians have pledged to help Wilko staff after it was confirmed the firm’s rescue deal had collapsed. Administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) failed to reach a deal to save any significant part of the retailer after it collapsed into administration last month.That means employees at the Hamilton store based in the Regent Centre will be laid off.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
