Hamilton and District athletes take Scottish National Championships medals

Hamilton and District Athletics Club took bronze medals from the Scottish National Under-12 Indoor Superteams event at Glasgow’s Emirates Arena last month.Their girls’ ‘A’ team of Abbie Dick, Eva Gray, Rose Scott and Layla Reddiex won bronze after completing a 60m, long jump, shot put and 4x200m relay.Hamilton’s girls’ ‘B’ team of Skye Davidson, Sophie Shearer, Alix Burns and Olivia Davidson finished 19th overall, and were the highest-placed ‘B’ team, beating eight ‘A’ teams on the day.Earlier in the month, the club attended the Scottish National Indoor 4x200m Relays where they had four girls’ teams compete.Their under-13 girls’ teams both narrowly missed the semi-finals.Hamilton’s girls’ ‘A’ team of club captain Eva Burns, Orla Brown,
