Hamilton Accies kid Fergus Owens says it’s time to stop saying they need to climb the Championship table and actually do it.The 19-year-old defender has started the last three games, having climbed off the bench during the 4-0 defeat at Queen’s Park on December 3, and says it’s up to him to stay there.Accies go into the Somerset Park clash bottom of the table, six points adrift of nearest challengers Arbroath.Owens says the time for talking about climbing the table is past, and Accies need to start winning games again, starting at Ayr this afternoon.He said: “There’s no room for error, no more time to mess about.“We keep saying every week that we need to pick up points, and we know that.“We keep saying ‘hopefully’, but it needs to happen now.“Hopefully I can help Hamilton do that.
