Gogglebox star initially refused to join show until bosses' offer changed his mind

He now shares the sofa with his husband Daniel.Speaking about when they were first approached to do the show, the hairdresser revealed that initially he wasn't interested.
Stephen told New Magazine: "I said no originally, I didn't want to be known for some awful reality show. But they won me around when they said they would pay us. "We weren't really told what it was going to be, so I never really understood it.
Then, when the show went out, my friends and family were all texting and it just seemed everyone was laughing."As soon as I watched it, I got it.
